What is Sex Discrimination?

Title VII prohibits discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex or national origin. It makes it illegal for employers to discriminate regarding the terms, conditions, and privileges of employment. This includes freedom from sexual harassment, the right to be free from a hostile work environment, and the prohibition against gender discrimination.
