What is Conflict of Interest?

Rule 1.7 provides that a lawyer shall not represent a client if that client's interests will be in conflict with or directly adverse to another client, or if there is a significant risk that the representation of one or more clients will be materially limited by the lawyer's responsibilities to another client, former client or a third person.
