The
Multistate Bar Examination (MBE) is a part of the Bar Exam. It is a standardized set of
200 multiple-choice questions (covers all seven legal practice areas: constitutional law, real property, criminal law and procedure, civil procedure, evidence, contracts, and torts) usually taken on the first day of the state bar examination. The National Conference of Bar Examiners (NCBE) prepares the test questions.
The questions are administered in two sessions: 100 questions in the morning session and the remaining 100 questions in the afternoon session.
