What is Article 2 of the Uniform Commercial Code?

Article 2 deals with sales of goods, and Article 2A deals with leases. Does not apply to any transactions which although in the form of an unconditional contract to sell is intended to operate only as a security transaction. The protection of consumers by existing or future legislation is not impaired or repealed.
