What is Medical Expenses?

Medical expenses include doctors' and dentists' bills, hospital bills, prescription and over-the-counter drugs, glasses and contacts, crutches and wheelchairs, to name a few. A tortfeasor is liable to compensate the plaintiff for medical expenses directly incurred from the accident.
