What subjects will you be tested on?

Agency, Commercial Paper, Community Property, Conflict of Laws, Corporations, Ethics, Nevada & Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, Partnerships, Persons & Domestic Relations, Remedies, Sales, Secured Transactions, Wills, Estates & Trusts, Contracts, Criminal Law and Procedure, Constitutional Law, Evidence, Real Property, and Torts.

What’s the minimum score for MPRE?

A scaled score of 85 on the MPRE achieved within three years of passing the bar exam is required for admission. MPRE Study Guide.

How is the exam scored?

MBE is weighted 1/3 and essays are weighted 2/3. The scores are combined to determine if an overall passing total scaled score of 75 was achieved. An applicant must have a total scaled score of 75 or higher and a converted score of 75 or higher on at least three written essay questions. This equates to a passing score of 140 on a 200-point scale.

When are the results released?

Results are released in early May for the February exam and in early October for the July exam.

Can I transfer my MBE scores from another jurisdiction?

Nevada does not accept MBE scores from other jurisdictions.

What about reciprocity across states?

Nevada does not provide for admission on motion; examination is required of all applicants.

What are the application deadlines and fees?
