What is Subsequent Remedial Measures?

If after injury or harm, remedial measures are taken by the alleged tortfeasor to rectify the harm, evidence of those measures are not generally admissible at trial to prove negligence, culpable conduct, a defect in a product, a defect in a product's design, or a need for a warning or instruction.
